Chennai, July 10 : Honda Racing India rider Rajiv Sethu finished Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship (INMRC) round-2 with double podium here on Sunday.

Rajiv of Honda SK69 Racing team bagged third position in race 2 of Pro-Stock 165cc category.

Despite a first position start, Rajiv got pushed back to 5th ending first lap itself. The rider quickly re-grouped and moved to 3rd in lap 5. He continued to make the best use of his strategies and finished third with total time of 15:55.726 – a mere difference of 0.048 seconds from the race leader.

Senthil Kumar, however, finished seventh. Abhishek V of ASK Honda Racing team once again closed the race at fifth.

On Saturday, Rajiv finished second in race-1 of with total time of 12:00.159.

On the other hand, Pune’s Sarthak Chavan and Mumbai’s Raheesh Khatri bagged their fourth consecutive win in Honda India Talent Cup NSF250R and CBR150R categories respectively.

It was a clean sweep for Sarthak as he sealed a double win for the weekend at the end of Honda India Talent Cup NSF250R Race 2.

In Honda India Talent Cup CBR150R, Mumbai’s Raheesh Khatri was in a league of his own throughout the six-laps. The 14-year-old rider started from pole position, created mammoth lead of 32 seconds and won his 4th race with timing of 12:54.900.

Chennai’s Shyam Babu and Bengaluru’s Harshith Bogar who kept exchanging their places until latter’s error in lap 5 confirmed Shyam’s position at second.

Harishith rounded up the podium at third with total time of 13:27.429.

On the other hand, G Balaji, Kayan Zubin Patel and Romario top 3 finishers of second Honda Hornet 2.0 Support Race.(UNI)
