Kabaddi Association Releases J&K Domestic Activity Calendar
JAMMU, SEP 24 : The Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association on Tuesday released the domestic calendar of activities here.
Association General Secretary Kuldeep Kumar Gupta in a handout issued here said that the Domestic Calendar 2024-25 has been released by the president of the Association, Anil Gupta for Sub-Junior, Junior and Senior UT level Championships in Boys and Girls section to three districts instead of one district to conduct the championship with the collaboration of Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council.
Surinder Mohan Technical Director Yuva Kabaddi Series (Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh), Anil Modi Treasurer and S.S Gill Technical Director of the association were among present.
As per the calendar of activities, the Ganderbal District Kabaddi Association will host district championship from Oct 4 to 5, Srinagar district on Oct 6-7, Anantnag District from Oct 11-13, Pulwama District from Oct 14-16, Budgam District from Oct 17-19, Baramulla District from Oct 10-12, Jammu District from Oct 14-16, Poonch District from Oct 23-25 Kathua District from 26-17, Rajouri District from Oct 28-30, Udhampur District from Oct 29-31 and Samba District from Oct 22-24.
Gupta further said that the completion of all the district Kabaddi Championship, Srinagar District Kabaddi Association will host Sub Junior UT Kabaddi Championship (Boys and Girls) Section, Udhampur District Kabaddi Association will host Junior UT Kabaddi Championship (Boys and Girls) Section and Poonch district Kabbadi association will host Senior UT Kabaddi championship (Men and Women) section before the conduct of National Kabaddi Championships.
He said that the “observers” have also been appointed in all the districts as well as UT Kabaddi Championships in Jammu Province and Kashmir Province.
The “observers” shall select the talented players for the Coaching Camps to be held before the participation in the National Championships and also submit their report well in time before conduct of the National Coaching Camps, he said.
