CHENNAI, FEB 16    :    Bengal Under-23 Women’s team went down to Haryana by 2 wickets in the semifinals of the One-Day Tournament here on Tuesday.
Batting first, Dhara Gujjar scored a fine 68 as Bengal managed to post 201/8 in 50 overs.
In reply, Haryana was put to a tough test by Bengal bowlers but the batters kept their cool till the end to take the team over the line scoring 202/8 in 47.2 overs. Shafali Verma top-scored with 50 runs.
For Bengal, Piyali Ghosh was superb with the ball bagging 5 for 31.(UNI)
