CMs of Punjab and Haryana congratulate the Indian hockey team on their bronze medal at the Olympics in Paris.

CHANDIGARH, AUG 8 :  Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini were among the leaders who congratulated Indian Hockey team for winning bronze after beating Spain 2-1 at Paris Olympics on Thursday.

Mann announced on X that Punjabi players of bronze-winning team will be given a cash award of Rs 1 Crore each as per the state’s sports policy.
In another tweet, congratulating Hockey team, he said that 10 Punjabi players including Harmanpreet Singh and Vice captain Hardik Singh’s presence in the team made Punjab proud. Every player of the team played with the passion.

Saini, in a tweet congratulated the team and said that Indian team has continued its winning streak like Tokyo Olympics.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Sukhbir Singh Badal of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) also took to social media to congratulate team India’s feat.(UNI)
