Dilruwan Perera retires from int’l cricket

Colombo, Jan 26 : Sri Lanka all-rounder Dilruwan Perera has announced his retirement from international cricket with immediate effect Today. In his retirement letter to Sri Lanka Cricket, the 39-year-old stated that he will continue to play domestic cricket. Perera featured in 43 Tests, 13 ODIs and 3 T20Is for Sri Lanka. The right-hander scored 1303 runs in the longest format of the game, which included seven half-centuries and a high score of 95. With his off-spin, Perera took 161 Test wickets and twice returned with 10-wicket hauls. He also has eight five-fers and as many four-wicket hauls to his name in Test cricket.(UNI)
