Bhopal, July 29 : Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan Today expressed gratitude towards Union Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Singh Thakur for granting in-principle consent vis-à-vis organising the Khelo India Youth Games 2022 in the state.

The leader duo met at Mr Thakur’s New Delhi residence.

“A budgetary provision of Rs 45 crore has been made in the current financial year for the event. Construction of a multipurpose hall at Bhopal’s TT Nagar Stadium is nearing completion,” the Chief Minister said.

He urged acceptance of proposals amounting to Rs 56.93 cr and including creation of the Bijal shooting range in Indore District; laying of synthetic tracks in Shivpuri, Ratlam and Indore; construction of sports complexes in Damoh and Agar Malwa.(UNI)
