Sri Lanka announce squad for white-ball series against India
Colombo, Jul 16 : Sri Lanka Today announced a 25-member squad for the rescheduled ODI and T20I series at home against India, starting July 18.
Dasun Shanaka will lead the side while Dhananjaya De Silva has been named his deputy.
Kusal Perera will miss out the entire white ball series due to a shoulder injury while Binura Fernando, who is recovering from an ankle injury, will miss the ODI series but to feature in the T20I series.
Uncapped Lahiru Udara, Shiran Fernando and Ishan Jayaratne have also been named in the squad.
The series was postponed by a few days after COVID-19 positive cases emerged in the Sri Lankan camp after their tour of England.
The six-match limited overs series will now start with the first of three ODIs on July 18 and T20I series will start from July 25. All the matches will be played in Colombo.
