AP CM hands over land allocation documents to P V Sindhu
Vijayawada, Jun 30 : Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy here Today handed over the documents of allocation of two acres of land to Badminton champion P V Sindhu for the setting up of a badminton academy.
The Chief Minister handed over the GO copy of the land allocation to P V Sindhu as his camp office.
The state government has allocated her two acres of land in Visakhapatnam to set up a badminton academy.
Mr Reddy conveyed best wishes and awarded Rs.5 lakh each to two badminton players Sindhu, R Satwik Sairaj, and women’s hockey player Rajani from the state who will participate in Tokyo Olympics 2020 from July 23 to August 8.
Rajini, who hails from Chittoor district, is attending training sessions in Bangalore and her parents attended the programme and received the cheque.
Tourism, Culture and Youth Advancement Minister Muttamsettii Srinivasa Rao, Principal Secretary Ram Gopal and SAAP employees Venkata Ramana were among those who have attended.(UNI)
