Thiruvananthapuram, Jul 1 : An employee of the Zoo died after being bitten by a king cobra in this Capital City here Today.
The incident occurred when 45-year-old Harshad hailing from Kattakkada was cleaning the cage after placing the food for a venomous snake (King Cobra), sources said.
Though he was rushed to the Government Medical College Hospital here, his life could not be saved.
The king cobra possesses a potent neurotoxic venom and death can occur in as little as 30 minutes after being bitten.(UNI)
