Yogi inspect development works in Varanasi
Lucknow , Jun 18: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, during his one-day visit to the district, made an on-site inspection of the under-construction Ring Road Phase-2 and instructed the officials concerned to complete this ambitious project on time.
After the inspection of the Community Health Centre (CHC) at Hathi Bazar, near Harahua, Yogi inspected the 44.25 km long Ring Road Phase-2 being constructed at a cost of Rs. 1354.67 crore. He was informed that 46.05 percent work has been completed by spending Rs 474.66 crore and the projected would be completed by February next year.
Earlier, after arriving here from Ballia, the CM inspected the Jaikaran Sharma State CHC at Hathi Bazar on Friday. The CHC is housed in sprawling seven acres, medical health facilities are being provided to about three lakh people of the surrounding areas. Presently this CHC is providing a 24 hour medical facility to the people. During his inspection, the CM saw the layout of the two-storey 30-bed building construction work including ground floor at a cost of about Rs 53.46 lakh at the vacant space in the hospital premises itself.
Keeping in view the possible third wave of corona, about 15-bed pediatric and three-bed ICU ward are being made for the children.
The CM also inspected the oxygen plant being built in the hospital and instructed the officers concerned to set up oxygen plant at the earliest. During this, he directed the officers to provide better and free medical facilities from this CHC and ensure 24 hours the presence of doctors and para-medical staff so that the common man does not have to face any kind of trouble and people can get medical facilities according to their needs. He also provided 10 oxygen concentrators to this CHC Hathi Bazar which has been adopted by him in order to bring a qualitative improvement in its medical facility.
During the inspection, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Tourism, Culture, Religious Affairs and Protocol Dr. Neelkanth Tiwari, MLA Saurabh Srivastava, former MLC Dr Chetnarayan Singh, IG (Zone) SK Bhagat, Divisional Commissioner (DC) Deepak Agrawal, District Magistrate (DM) Kaushal Raj Sharma and other officials were also present.(UNI)
