World’s longest cycle journey Green Man reaches Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Dec 30 : World’s Longest Cycle Journey, carrying a message of environment protection, arrived in Hyderabad Today.
Telangana Forest Officers felicitated Green Man Narpat Singh Raj Purohit.
Narpat Singh Raj Purohit popularly called as ‘Green Man’ has interacted with officials of Telangana Forest Department as part of his environmental awareness campaign through cycling.
So far, he has covered 25097 KM in 15 States and 4 Union territories to create awareness about protection and Wild Life by interacting with all sections of society.
Apart from this, he is a keen protector of Wildlife and a regular blood donor.
During his interaction with Telangana Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Social Forestry), R.M.Dobriayl and Addl Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Development) M.C.Pargaien, the Green Man had discussion about Telangana Haritha Haram programme of state.
His efforts in the areas of conservation of Forests and Wildlife were appreciated and wished him all success for his efforts and contribution to society.
Narpat Singh will be further travelling via districts of Siddipet, Karimnagar, Khammam and then entering Andhra Pradesh State from tomorrow onwards.(UNI)
