WHRPC to confer honorary degree to social activist Dr Suhas Muley

Ahmednagar, Jul 2 : Leading social activist Suhas Chintaman Muley on Today informed that he will be awarded Doctorate Degree by the World Human Rights Protection Commission (WHRPC) New Delhi for his contributions towards society.

The WHRPC committee has announced to give doctorate degree (Doctor of Humanity) to Muley in recognition of his work for the last 25 years.

The WHRPC, which comprises former President Pratibhatai Patil as well as former Chief Minister of Goa and other senior members, shortlisted the name of Muley from Maharashtra.

The WHRPC which is accredited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Culture awards doctorate degree to top social and RTI activists in the country every years after selecting their performa, said Mr Muley.
A total of individuals from all over India in various fields will be honored with special doctorates soon in a function which will be held in new Delhi soon.

“I believe that I am receiving this highest honor in my life,” Mr Muley remarked, adding that he will continue to work for society.
His contributions towards field of literature, culture, history, participation of debate on national issues and his work for disabled persons in country is recognized by all.(UNI)
