HYDERABAD JAN  25          : Working president of the Telangana Congress T Jayaprakash Jagga Reddy stated on Wednesday that the meeting of four BRS MLAs with chief minister A Revanth Reddy is evidence that the doors of the new Congress government are open to all leaders, something that hasn’t happened in the previous nine years under the leadership of K Chandrasekhar Rao.

“Before speaking, K T Rama Rao and the other BRS leaders ought to reconsider.”The Revanth-led Congress government has restored the democracy in governance that the previous BRS government killed, he added. Not even BRS MLAs or ministers were allowed to meet with the then-CM KCR at Pragathi Bhavan.

In addition, Jagga Reddy tried to counsel the BRS leaders to consider KCR’s political background before making any remarks on Revanth Reddy. He remarked, “KTR should never forget that his father, KCR, was a Youth Congress leader before joining the TDP and launching TRs (now BRS), all before making snide remarks about other leaders.”

Additionally, Jagga Reddy attacked the BJP, saying it was acting as though the saffron party existed before Lord Rama and popularized the god after its creation. “Every Hindu believes in Lord Rama, and they can demonstrate their devotion to Lord Rama without the BJP’s advice or counsel. Regarding Rahul Gandhi’s inability to visit a temple in Assam while on his Bharat Jodo Nyay yatra, he questioned whether the BJP administration was required to provide him permission to do so.
