When in the UAE, EAM Jaishankar goes to the BAPS temple and practises yoga.

NEW DELHI/ABU DHABI, JUNE 23 :  External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar arrived in the UAE on Sunday for holding talks with his UAE counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The EAM visited the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi. He also participated in the 10th International Yoga Day celebrations.

In a post on X, the EAM said the temple is a visible symbol of India-UAE Friendship and radiates a positive message to the world. “Blessed to visit the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi today.

“A visible symbol of India-UAE friendship, it radiates a positive message to the world and is a true cultural bridge between our two countries.”

The EAM participated in the 10th International Yoga Day celebrations organised by the Indian Embassy at the Louvre, Abu Dhabi, museum premises.

The EAM is to hold talks with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan on wide-ranging issues of the partnership.

The visit will provide an opportunity to review the entire spectrum of comprehensive strategic partnership between India and UAE and regional and global developments, a statement said.(UNI)
