West India’s IntrCity SmartBus fleet is growing.
PUNE, JULY 5 : IntrCity SmartBus, India’s leading inter-city mobility platform, is expanding its operations in West India, primarily targeting Mumbai and Pune.
The brand plans to add 50 more routes in the region.
The West region, including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Goa, experienced a 60% surge in demand this summer holiday season, with an average occupancy rate of 98%, driving strategic moves, the release said on Friday.
The company plans to increase its fleet size by 300% this year to meet increasing demand and improve travel connectivity in dynamic regions.
Additionally, it will add 100 washroom-equipped buses in the west, significantly enhancing convenience and comfort for travelers.
Recently, exclusive boarding lounges have been launched in Mumbai, Pune, Goa, and Indore, enhancing passenger safety and comfort, with more planned for introduction in the next quarter.
The brand is prioritizing passenger satisfaction through innovation and technology investments, with an expanded fleet aiming to enhance travel experiences in West India.
