Aurangabad (Maharashtra), Sep 1 : Former Shiv Sena Vaijapur MLA R M Vani passed away here on early Today  morning.
He was 82.
Late Vani won the Vaijapur seat three consecutive times in 1999, 2004 and 2009 but lost to NCP’s Bhausaheb Chikatgaonkar in 2014.
Prior to that, he was the Vaijapur Municipal Council President twice. During his five-decade-long career, he first worked as a Congressman and later pledged allegiance to the Shiv Sena.
Cutting across party lines, several political leaders mourned his demise.
He his survived by his wife and four sons.(UNI)
