Pune, Sep 22 : During the next 24 hours, heavy to very heavy rain very likely at isolated places in Goa, Konkan, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and Vidarbha, the IMD predicted Today.

In the same period, thunderstorm accompanied with lightning very likely at isolated places over Maharashtra and Goa, it added.

Thunderstorm observed (from 0830 hours IST of yesterday to 0830 hours IST of today) at isolated places over Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Bihar, Assam, Meghalaya, Telangana, Vidarbha, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Gujarat State, Madhya Pradesh, Marathwada, north interior Karnataka,

Rayalaseema, West Bengal, Sikkim, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal and Odisha.

The monsoon has been vigorous over west Rajasthan, Gujarat State, Konkan and Goa; active over

West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, coastal Karnataka and north interior Karnataka.

While, it has subdued over Arunachal Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Vidarbha, Gujarat region, Konkan and Goa, Marathwada, Telangana, coastal and north interior Karnataka, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep and at many places in Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, west Rajasthan, east Rajasthan, Saurashtra and Kutch, Madhya Maharashtra, Rayalseema, south interior Karnataka and Kerala and at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, west Uttar Pradesh, Jammu-Kasmir and Ladakh, west Madhya Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Tamil Nadu and at isolated places in Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh and coastal Andhra Pradesh.(UNI)
