Tirumala, Mar 5: Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu along with his family members offered prayers in the Srivari temple here on Friday.

Earlier, Mr Naidu reached the temple through Vaikuntam Queue Complex accompanied by Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister K Narayana Swamy.

On his arrival at the entrance of the main temple, the Vice President was welcomed by TTD Executive Officer Dr KS Jawahar Reddy, Additional Executive Officer AV Dharma Reddy and Chief Vigilance Security Officer Gopinath Jatti.

After offering prayers in the temple, he was rendered Vedasirvachanam by Vedic Pundits.

Later, Mr Naidu was presented with Theertha Prasadams and Portrait of Sri Venkateswara Swamy by the Executive Officer.

Chittoor District Collector Harinarayanan, Tirupati Urban Superintendent of Police Ch Venkatappala Naidu were also present. (UNI)
