UP Congress launches mega training camp of its leaders, workers
Lucknow, Jul 1: The Uttar Pradesh Congress has launched a mega training camp for its block level party leaders and workers in the run up to the 2022 Assembly polls, state party president Ajay Kumar Lallu said here on Thursday.
The training, to be held from July 1 to 8, will include sessions on the do’s and don’ts of social media and methods to inform people about wrongdoings of other parties.
According to Mr Lallu, the state Congress Committee is holding special training camps to train its leaders and workers.
He said the two-day training camp for different brackets will be held in seven of its eight zones of the state .
In the training camp, the state vice-president of each zone, state general secretary, state secretary, district presidents, city presidents and block presidents of all the districts associated with that zone will be trained .
The training camps will be first organized in Allahabad Zone on July 1 and 2 , then in Sultanpur on July 2 and 3, in Lucknow on July 3 and 4, in Mathura on July 4 and 5, in Jhansi on July 5 and 6 and in Ghaziabad on July 6 and 7 and then It will finally be held in Bareilly on July 7 and 8.
Mr Lallu said on the first day leaders will be imparted training on social media, while giving information about the importance of it, methods will be taught to convey the matter of oneself and the party to the public.
On day two, they will be introduced to the reality of BJP and RSS, SP and BSP besides information on failures of the Yogi-Modi government, he added.
Meanwhile, Mr Lallu said that Ms Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is expected to visit Lucknow this month.
He said the exact date of the visit of the party general secretary is yet to be finalised.
However, sources said that Ms Vadra will soon shift her base to state capital Lucknow for the 2022 state Assembly polls, where the house of her relative and former Congress leader Sheila Kaul has been renovated.(UNI)
