Hyderabad, Dec 15 : Union Bank of India (UBI) has been felicitated for achieving the highest percentage for digital payment transactions under the category of large and medium banks at the “Digital Payments Utsav”.
The Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology celebrated “Digital Payments Utsav” where UBI was honoured for its outstanding performance in promoting digital payments, the Bank said in a release here on Wednesday.
On behalf of the Bank, Mr Nitesh Ranjan, Executive Director received the ‘Utkarsh Puraskar’ of DigiDhan Award 2020-21 from Mr Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister for Communications, Electronics & Information Technology and Railways (Gol) and Dr Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of State at India Habitat Centre in New Delhi.(UNI)
