Kakinada, Oct 6 : Two degree students of Bhimavaram DNR college who came on a picnic tour have met a tragic death while shooting a selfie with their mobile and accidentally slipped down and drowned in Sokuleru Vaagu’ a hill stream near Tulasipakala village of Chintur mandal in the agency area in the district today.
Their colleagues tried to rescue them but in vain .
The Chintur police who registered a case identified the deceased as Janga Durgaprasad (22) and Addala Satya Naidu (21) –both are natives of Amalapuram town .
The bodies are retrieved and sent to area hospital at Chintur for postmortem pending further investigation, police said.(UNI)
