Two COVID deaths, 145 fresh cases were reported in J&K

Srinagar, Sep 21: There was no let-up in the COVID positive cases despite taking stern action against those who are violating COVID Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) in the Jammu and Kashmir, where two patients have died and 145 fresh cases were recorded during the past 24 hours.
“No new confirmed case of mucormycosis has been reported today, an official spokesman said adding till now a total of 46 confirmed cases have been reported in the J&K.
He said 145 fresh cases of COVID positive cases were reports during the past 24 hours in the J&K. Out of these 24 were from Jammu and 121 in the Kashmir division.
He said two patients have died in Jammu division on September 21.
In Srinagar Deputy Commissioner, has warned stern action against those who are found violating CAB. He also threatened action against those who are serving more guests during marriage ceremonies against the number approved by the administration. Over 24 shops have been sealed for violating the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in Srinagar during the past two days.
However, despite taking these measures, Srinagar continued to record the highest number of positive cases in the J&K.
A spokesman said 56 fresh cases were reported followed by 19 in Badgam, 13 each in Baramulla and Ganderbal, five each in Pulwama, Kupwara, and Bandipora, four in Anantnag, and one in Kulgam. However, no fresh case is reported in Shopian. (UNI)
