Traffic restored between Ukshi-Bhoke stations
Panaji, Jun 26 : Konkan Railway Today said that the traffic had been restored between Ukshi and Bhoke stations in Ratnagiri region where H Nizamuddi-Madgao Jn Rajdhani Expressed had derailed.
A statement from Konkan Railway said, the restoration work of the derailed front wheel of loco of Train no 02414 H. Nizamuddin – Madgaon Jn. Rajdhani Superfast Special at Km 190/3 between Ukshi and Bhoke station in Karbude Tunnel in Ratnagiri region of Konkan Railway had successfully been completed.
‘The track fit certificate has issued at 08.18 hrs on 26/06/2021. Train no 02414 H. Nizamuddin – Madgaon Jn. Rajdhani Superfast Special has cleared from section at 09.14 hrs on 26/06/2021. Traffic has restored at 10.27 hrs on 26/06/2021,’ it said.
Front wheel of loco of Train no 02414 Hazarat Nizamuddin – Madgaon Jn Rajdhani Superfast Special had derailed in the early morning between Ukshi and Bhoke stations in Karbude Tunnel in Ratnagiri region of Konkan Railway due to boulder fall.
Rail Maintenance Vehicle (RMV) had reached the site and Accident Relief Medical Van (ARMV) having rerailing equipment had left for the site from Ratnagiri for early restoration.
Konkan Railway officials had also rushed to the site for an early clearance of the line. There was no injury or casualty to anyone, the statement added.(UNI)
