HYDERABAD, DEC 3  :   Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President A Revanth Reddy on Sunday, dedicated the Congress victory in the assembly elections to the mytyres of the Telangana movement.

Addressing the press here, Revanth Reddy expressed gratitude to the people for providing an opportunity to express gratitude towards Ms. Sonia Gandhi, who played a crucial role in granting separate statehood of Telangana. The victory, he emphasized, imposes a greater responsibility on Congress to rebuild democracy and fulfill the aspirations of the people of Telangana.
Recalling Rahul Gandhi’s assurances of support during the Bharat Jodo Yatra, Revanth stated that Rahul Gandhi encouraged us to conduct padayatra across the state.

Highlighting the deep connection of Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi to Telangana, Revanth credited the victory in the assembly elections to the support of senior leaders including Bhatti Vikramarkha, Uttam Kumar Reddy, Komatireddy Venkatreddy, Sridhar Babu, and Hanumantha Rao.

Asserting that the Telangana people have given a clear majority to Congress, Revanth Reddy mentioned that the party will move forward by seeking suggestions from Prof Kodandaram and among others. He welcomed KTR’s congratulatory reaction and expressed hope for BRS’s support to Congress.
Revanth Reddy also announced that Pragathi Bhavan, the Chief Minister’s camp cum Residence, will be transformed into Praja Bhavan.(UNI)
