TPCC demands DGP to book case against KTR for attack on the residence of Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad, Sep 22 : Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Senior Vice President today demanded Director General of Police (DGP) M Mahender Reddy to book case and to enquire against Minister K T Rama Rao for attack on the residence of TPCC President A Revanth Reddy, MP.

In a letter, addressed to DGP, copy of which was released to media here, Mr Niranjan said The peace loving people of Telangana were shocked at the attack on the residence of Revanth Reddy on Tuesday by the TRS activists who were clearly instigated by TRS Working President and Minister Rama Rao.

He said that the general body meeting of Hyderabad City TRS held on Tuesday at Vihar, Necklace Road, Hyderabad, in which Mr Rama Rao openly provoked his party cadre to attack on the congress party leaders and on those who speak against them.

“ Yesterday’s attack was pre-planned by Mr Rama Rao himself in tune with his provocative speech on Tuesday”, he said and added that the provocative speech and direction of Rama Rao to their cadre in a meeting held on Tuesday at JalaVihar, Necklace Road is responsible for this attack.

While enclosing news papers clippings on Wednesday, Mr Niranjan requested the DGP to take stringent action against him.(UNI)
