Towing van catches fire at Mumbai airport; no one hurt
Mumbai, Jan 10 : A major mishap was averted at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport after an aeroplane towing van caught fire but the blaze was controlled in time Today.
According to officials, the incident occurred this afternoon when the pushback was underway for the Gujarat-bound Air India flight AIC 647 having 85 flyers onboard.
Suddenly, the towing vehicle was engulfed in flames but they were doused subsequently. All the passengers were safe, officials said.
The cause of fire is yet to be ascertained.(UNI)
