Hyderabad, April 9:  Thunderstorm with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Nirmal, Jagtial, Mancherial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Karimnagar, Warangal, (Urban), Warangal (Rural), Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mahabubabad, Khammam, Rajanna Siricialla, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Sangareddy, Medak and Vikarabad during the next 72 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Friday.
In a bulletin here, it said that thunderstorm with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next 24 hours and on April 12 and 13.
Thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds with speed (30-40 kmph) are likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana on April 12 and 13.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana and North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next five days.
Dry weather is likely to occur in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next five days, the bulletin said.
Rain occurred at isolated places in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, and dry weather
prevailed in Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature of 40.3 degrees Celsius and 41 degrees Celsius was recorded in Adilabad of Telangana and in Anantapur of Rayalaseema on Thursday.
The highest maximum temperature of 37.5 degrees Celsius was recorded in Hyderabad yesterday. (UNI)
