Hyderabad, April 16: Thunderstorm accompanied by lightning and gusty winds with speed (30-40 kmph) is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Friday.
In a bulletin here, it said that thunderstorm with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next five days and in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Rayalaseema during the next 48 hours.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana, North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next five days and in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next 48 hours, the bulletin said.
Rain occurred at isolated places in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh during the last 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature of 38 degrees Celsius and 37.1 degrees Celsius was recorded at Nalgonda of Telangana and Kurnool of Rayalaseema on Thursday.
The highest maximum temperature of 35.8 degrees Celsius was recorded in Hyderabad yesterday, the bulletin added. (UNI)
