Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty winds likely to occur in Telangana in next 48 hours: Met
Hyderabad, May 8: Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds speed ranging (30-40 KMPH) is likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Adilabad, KomaramBheem, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, RajannaSiricilla, Jagtial, Siddipet, YadadriBhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal-Mallkajigiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet and JogulambaGadwal of Telangana during the next 48 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Saturday.
In a bulletin here, it said that thunderstorm with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Adilabad, KomaramBheem, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, RajannaSiricilla, Jagtial, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal Rural, Warangal Urban, Jangaon, Siddipet, YadadriBhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, and MedchalMalakhajgiri of Telangana on May 10, 11 and 12.
The same situation is likely to prevail in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, North Coastal Andhra Pradesh &Yanam during the next five days and in Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours and on May 11 and 12.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, North Coastal Andhra Pradesh &Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next five days, the bulletin said.
Rain occurred at isolated places in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature of 42 degree Celsius and 39.6 degree celsius was recorded in Nalgonda of Telangana and Kurnool of Rayalaseema on Friday.
The maximum temperature of 37.1 degree Celsius was recorded in Hyderabad yesterday, the bulletin added.(UNI)
