Thunderstorm, lightning and gusty winds with heavy rain likely to occur in AP: MeT
Hyderabad, May 16 : Thunderstorm , lightning and gusty winds speed ranging 30-40 kmph with isolated heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places in Rayalaseema during the next 48 hours and in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh (SCAP) on May 17, Meteorological Centre said today.
In a bulletin here, it said that thunderstorm with lightning and gusty winds speed ranging 30- 40 kmph is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana during the next 48 hours, in SCAP during the next five days and in Rayalaseema on May 18.
Thunderstorm with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh (NCAP) & Yanam during the next five days and in Telangana on May 18, 19, 20.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at a few places or at isolated places in Telangana, NCAP & Yanam, SCAP and Rayalaseema during the next five days..
Rain occurred at isolated places in Telangana, Rayalaseema and at a few places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the last 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature of 42.5 degree Celsius and 38.8 degree Celsius was recorded in Nalgonda of Telangana and Cuddapah of Rayalaseema on Friday.
The maximum temperature of 34.3 degree Celsius was recorded in Hyderabad, the capital city of Telangana yesterday, the bulletin added.(UNI)
