Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning likely to occur in Telangana in next five days : Met
Hyderabad, Jul 5 : Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places, or in few districts or in many districts of Telangana during the next five days, Meteorological Centre said on Monday.
In a bulletin here, it said that heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Komaram Bheem, Asifabad, Mancherial, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Narayanpet, Jogulamba Gadwal of the state during the next 24 hours.
Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Narayanpet, Jogulamba Gadwal of Telangana on July 6.
Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Karimnagar, Peddapalli , Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Nalgonda, Siddipet, Medchal Malkajigiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy and Nagarkurnool of the state on July 7.
Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Jagityal, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu of Telangana on July 8.
Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally ,Mulugu, Nalgonda, Suryapet and Nagarkurnool of the state on July 9.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at many places or at few places in Telangana during the next five days, the bulletin said.
Southwest Monsoon has been weak over Telangana.
Rain occurred at Isolated places in the state during the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, in a special bulletin, Met said a trough runs from North Odisha to north Coastal Andhra Pradesh at 1.5 km above mean sea level.
A trough runs from eastern parts of Vidarbha to South Coastal Tamil Nadu across Telangana at 0.9 km above mean sea level, the bulletin added.(UNI)
