Nanded, May 24 : Three members of a family travelling in a car that fell into the canal on the Barad-Shebonli road, were rescued by the Highway police at Barad early Today.
Upon receiving information about the incident, a team of Highway Police rushed to the spot at midnight in intervening night of Sunday and Monday and rescued the occupants who were trapped in the vehicle, police said.
They were identified as the wife of the car driver Rukmini Kondiba Jadhav, daughter Pragati and son Vishwas.
The trio was extricated safely by the police with the help of the onlookers and they were rushed to Barad Primary Health Centre, sources added.(UNI)
