Hyderabad, Mar 19 : Three people, including a ten-year-old boy and a young woman were drowned in the Godavari river in Bhadrachalam of Telangana on Friday.

Five people, natives of Godavari district in the neighbouring Andhra Pradesh ventured into the river to take a bath.

Two others, who were rescued, were shifted to the Bhadrachalam area hospital.

The victims came to Bhadrachalam two days ago to attend a function in Ayyappa colony.(uni)
