There is no cost to attend Medaram Fair for visitors: Minister
MULUGU (TELANGANA), FEB 17 : Telangana Panchayat Raj & Rural Development Minister Seethakka on Saturday said Medaram is the only fair that visitors can enjoy without incurring any expenses.
During the inauguration of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) temporary bus stand in Medaram, the Minister said in the past, people used to come to the fair on foot, but now Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has implemented a free bus facility for women under the Mahalakshmi scheme, with a significant increase in the number of buses to 6,000.
“My request to the RTC employees and officials is that drive the buses with utmost care and treat the devotees with courtesy,” she said.
Seethakka disclosed that RTC buses will be available starting today. The bus stand opening ceremony was attended by District Collector Ila Tripathi, Superintendent of Police Sabarish, RTC Warangal RM Srilatha, and Special Officer Sridhar.(UNI)
