The YSRCP office building under construction was dismantled.
VIJAYAWADA, JUNE 22 : The YSRCP state party office building, which was under construction, was demolished by the officials on Saturday.
The construction of the YSRCP party office began when the party was in power. It was being constructed at Sitanagaram in Tadepalli mandal near here. The officials made it clear that the building was being constructed without taking required permissions from the departments concerned.
Sources said that the then Jagan Mohan Reddy headed government allocated two acres of land on lease to the YSRCP for constructing a building for the party. The Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) officials issued notice to the YSRCP leaders concerned earlier and on Saturday the officials demolished the under construction building.
Official sources made it clear that the YSRCP did not apply for a plan either for the construction of the building. TDP leader Pothineni Srinivasa Rao complained to the officials on the illegal construction of the party office by the YSRCP.
However, YSRCP senior leader and former Minister Ambati Rambabu claimed that they had taken needed approvals for the construction of the party office. “The demolition of YSRCP party office building is exposing Naidu headed government’s of vindictive politics. All democrats should condemn the act,” the former minister said.(UNI)
