ANKARA, JUNE 30 :  The leader of the Turkish main opposition party, the Republican People’s Party, Ozgur Ozel, has said he expects to hold a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin during his upcoming visit to Russia.

“Next week, I am planning to attend the congress of the leaders of the European socialist parties in Bucharest. The meetings are planned not only with European leaders; we will go to Russia and Beijing. We will meet with Putin; we have already received an invitation, and we will go to China as well as to Brazil, where we will meet with President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva,” Ozel said in an interview with Turkish journalist Fatih Altayli.

The opposition party’s leader did not specify the date of his visit to Russia.(UNI)
