‘The Kardashians’ set to return on Hulu in a new show
Los Angeles, Feb 8 : Having gone on a short hiatus, the Kardashians are back with Hulu releasing a first look teaser for “The Kardashians” with the platform featuring the internationally star-studded family, premiering on April 14. “The Kardashians” is executive produced by Fulwell 73 partner Ben Winston, along with Emma Conway and Elizabeth Jones. Danielle King also executive produces in addition to show running. Following its premiere in April, the show will air new episodes weekly on Thursdays. Although details about what events the new series comprises are still under wraps, “The Kardashians” is set to follow the same formula as “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” the 2007-2021 E! reality series that launched members of the family to the top of the A-list of fame. A new reality series starring the Kardashians has been in development since late 2020, when Disney announced its deal with the star cast family to develop new content for Hulu while “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” had just announced that its upcoming 20th season would mark its end. The show was initially set to premiere sometime in 2021, but production didn’t take place until late in the year when it was reported that the family had teamed with Fulwell 73 to produce the show. The show picks up after the teary-eyed final season of E!’s ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’, which ended in June 2021. The teaser clip promises that “all the walls will be shattered,” while showing Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kris, Kendall, and a pregnant Kylie in glass boxes. The show will give insight into the Kardashian women’s work as influencers and business women, along with the pressures that come with the aspects of motherhood and raising children while being in the spotlight. Elaborating on the show, Kim has said that the series shall feature a “different side” of the family and will also delve more into her professional life and legal studies. “I think it will be a different side,” she told WSJ. magazine in October 2021. “But I wouldn’t say that our silly sides are not going to come out.” Speaking on the show Kris hinted that for those deeply invested in the Kardashians’ saga since the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” days, the new series will definitely not disappoint and will be a continuation of their story. “This is the next chapter,” she said. “In the new show, you’ll see us evolving as a family. Fans want us to be who we are, and since moment one, they’ve been emotionally invested in our show, just like we are. The fans will love seeing us continue the journey. I can’t say much about what’s coming, but spoiler, we’re going to look fabulous and everyone’s going to watch.” Kris Jenner took to her Instagram account to share the 30 second teaser clip and wrote “Join us for the premiere of The Kardashians on Hulu on April 14 and make sure you follow @kardashianshulu for all the updates!! @hulu, Disney+ internationally and Star+ in Latin America ”#TheKardashians.”(UNI)
