Thane, Dec 19 : In the past 24 hours, Thane recorded 104 new COVID cases while one patient died of the virus, informed a district official Today.
The new addition took district’s total caseload to 5,71,122 while the death toll rose to 11,600.
Presently, Thane district has the mortality rate of 2.03 per cent, the official added.
Meanwhile in the neighboring Palghar district, the case count surged to 1,38,923 while the death toll climbed to 3,307.(UNI)
