Thane, May 3 : With 2,774 new cases of covid in last 24 hours, a tally has reached to 4,72,794

in Thane district, an official said today.

While, 42 deaths were reported in last 24 hours, taking a toll to 7,685.

The mortality rate was 1.62 per cent, he added.

In neighbouring Palghar district, the COVID-19 case count has gone up to 88,625 while the death toll was 1,593 he said.(UNI)
