Thane, May 8: With 2274 new covid positive cases in the last 24 hours, a tally has spiked to 4,84,769 in Thane district, an official said today.

While 52 death cases were registered in the last 24 hours, taking a total toll of 7935.
The mortality rate was 1.63 per cent, he added.
In neighbouringPalghar district, the COVID-19 case count has gone up to 94,483 while the death toll was 1,687 he said.(UNI)
