Thane, May 10 : With 1,752 new cases in the last 24 hours, a tally has reached 4,88,779 in Thane district, an official said today.

With 50 death cases, a total has spiked to 8053.

The mortality rate was 1.64 per cent, he added.

In neighbouring Palghar district, the COVID-19 case count has gone up to 97,065 while the death toll was 1,738 he said.(UNI)
