Thane, Jul 29 : Traffic on the Mumbra-Panvel road was shut for couple of hours following a gas leakage near Taloja town Today morning, informed the Fire Brigade of Navi Mumbai.

The fire officer at the Kalamboli fire station said that carbon dioxide gas leaked enroute while it was being transported in a tanker.

After receiving the call at 1145 hours, the firemen rushed to the spot at village Kidvikpada and plugged the leakage, with the help of the gas company staff, amid chaotic scene.
The operation was completed at around 1245 hours and none was hurt in the mishap, officer apprised.(UNI)
