Tenth Oxygen Express train to Telangana with 118.93 tonnes of LMO to reach on May 22

Hyderabad, May 22 : The Tenth Oxygen Express train to Telangana will arrive at Sanath Nagar, here Today transporting 118.93 tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) in six container tankers.
The train was loaded from Rourkela in Odisha, a South Central Railway release here said.
On the Other hand, two Oxygen Express trains have reached Guntur and Krishnapatnam today.
The third Oxygen Express train to Guntur brought 40 tonnes of LMO in two tankers from Durgapur in West Bengal. Simultaneously, the fifth Oxygen Express train to Krishnapatnam brought 75.75 tonnes of LMO in 4 tankers from Rourkela in Odisha. Significantly, both the trains have been run with utmost priority clocking an average speed of over 60 kmph.
The Indian Railways has been operating Oxygen Express trains along the Green Corridors, ensuring that they travel with minimal enroute detentions. Adequate precautions are being taken so as to ensure that the Cryogenic cargo is safely transported across various states.
SCR General Manager Gajanan Mallya has assured that the Railways is taking all necessary steps to ensure that the Oxygen Express trains reaches in the fastest possible time.
He said that the movement of these trains is being given the highest sense of urgency, with multi-disciplinary teams working round the clock to ensure speedy delivery.
Mr Mallya also appreciated the staff and officers for the coordination and liaison being maintained with the state governments of both originating and destination stations for expediting the supply of oxygen by these trains.(UNI)
