Hyderabad, Sep 30 :Telangana registered 214 COVID-19 fresh cases till 1730 hours today pushing cumulative cases to 6,65,963 so far.

With the death of two patient in the last 24 hours, the toll in the state due to the pandemic now stands at 3,918 translating a case fatality rate of 0.58 per cent as against the countrywide mortality rate of 1.3 per cent, according to the bulletin issued by the Office of the Director, Public Health and Family Welfare here tonight.

As many as 208 people have recuperated from Coronavirus statewide in the past 24 hours to take the total number of recoveries thus far to 6,57,421 constituting a recovery rate of 98.71 per cent while the national average was 97.82 per cent.

Currently, the number of active cases in the state stands at 4,624, the bulletin said.

A total of 46,190 samples were tested in the state during the last 24 hours to detect the contagious virus out of which the results of 1,445 swab samples are awaited.(UNI)
