Hyderabad, July 10 : Telangana recorded 459 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday, taking the cumulative cases to 8,06,124 so far.

The death toll has remained unchanged at 4,111.

A total of 468 persons recovered on Sunday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the state to 7,96,833 with recovery rate of 98.85 per cent, according to a state health department bulletin here tonight.

The number of active cases in the state now stood at 5,180.

As many as 22,193 samples were tested to detect the contagious virus during the past 24 hours out of which the results of 127 swab samples were pending.

Since the outbreak of the pandemic, 3,58,62,191 COVID-19 tests have been carried out in the state till date.

Of the 459 new infections, the highest of 323 cases reported in Hyderabad district followed by Sangareddy (40), Medchal Malkajigiri (29).

The remaining coronavirus infection cases of the day were contributed by other districts,
