Hyderabad, Oct 6:Telangana recorded 187 new Covid-19 cases and one death today.
The number of active cases in the state stood at 4,406.
The total count of cases since the beginning of the pandemic last year, stands at 6,67,158 and the death toll stands at 3,925, state Director of Public Health department said in its bulletin here this evening.
A total of 170 patients were declared recovered on Wednesday, taking the total count of recovered patients to 6,58,827.
The case fatality rate (CFR) stands at 0.58 per cent while the recovery rate stood at 98.75 per cent.
So far, 79.9 percent of the overall cases in the state have been asymptomatic while 20.1 per cent have been symptomatic.
Of the total positive cases recorded in the state on Wednesday, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 62 cases while neighbouring Medechal Malkajgiri recorded 11 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 10 cases and Sanga Reddy recorded two cases.
Outside of Hyderabad city and its outskirts, Karimnagar with 18 infections recorded the highest number of cases.(UNI)
