Hyderabad, Aug 25: More than 85 percent of candidates have cleared the Telangana state Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) 2021, it was announced here today.

Education Minister P Sabitha Reddy declared the results here Today.

Of the 2.27 lakh candidates who had appeared for EAMCET, 85.70 percent have qualified for the entrance test.

While 1,47,971 candidates took the engineering entrance test, 82.08 percent qualified, while 92.48 percent candidates out of 79,009 who had appeared for agriculture and medical stream have cleared the entrance test.

Two candidates from neighboring Andhra Pradesh bagged the top slots securing the first and second ranks respectively, while a candidate from Hyderabad secured the third rank in the engineering stream.

Similarly, candidates from Hyderabad, Rangareddy district, and Hyderabad bagged the first, second, and third ranks respectively in the agriculture and medical stream. (UNI)
