Hyderabad, Sep 22 :The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Today  caught a Mandal Surveyor red-handed when he was accepting a bribe amount of Rs 20000.

The Accused Officer (AO) H Thlkkaiah, Mandal Surveyor (Contract Employee), K T Doddi Mandal, Jogulamba Gadwal District was caught red-handed near his residence, Old Housing Board Colony, X-Roads, Gadwal when he demanded and accepted the bribe amount of Rs 20,000 from the complainant S Telugu Ramana, a resident of Gadwal Town to do the official favour– to submit survey report pertaining to the agriculture land of the complainant to the Tahsildar K T Doddi Mandal, an ACB release here said.

The trap amount of Rs 20,000 was recovered from the possession of the AO at his instance. Fingers of his both hands yielded positive results in the chemical test. The AO performed his duty improperly and dishonestly to obtain undue advantage.

Thikkalah is being arrested and produced before the Additional Special Judge for SPE and ACB cases, here, the release added.(UNI)
