Telangana : KTR inaugurates Quadrant Tech office in Warangal
WARANGAL, OCT 6 : Telangana Information Technology Minister K T Rama Rao, popularly known as KTR, inaugurated Quadrant Technologies office here on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the future of India was in tier II cities as the government is developing a robust transport system with bullet trains, and better air connectivity.
He stated that the Government of Telangana constructed IT Hubs in tier II cities like Warangal, Nalgonda, Siddipet, Mahbubnagar, Khammam, Karimnagar, and Nizamabad to decentralize the growth of Information Technology.
KTR also appealed to the NRI community to set up offices in the tier II cities of the state to create employment opportunities for the youngsters.
The Minister said that 50% of the population in India was less than the age of 27 and 65% of the population was under the age of 35.
“Earlier everyone said the population was a problem, but today India’s population is seen as a strength in the form of human resources,” he added.
KTR stated that the Government of Telangana was building infrastructure for companies to set up offices in tier II cities with an aim to create more and more employment opportunities for the youth.
He also instructed the officials to increase the land bank to further accommodate more companies.(UNI)
