Telangana Govt committed to the welfare of Journalists: Minister

Warangal Urban, April 12:  Telangana IT and Industry Minister KT Rama Rao on Monday said that the state government was committed to the welfare of Journalists in the state.
Speaking after laying the foundation stone for two-bedroom houses for Journalists in Warangal East, Mr. Rao said that he was happy to participate in the program.
As per the desire of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, the government is taking steps for providing double-bedroom houses to the poor and downtrodden.
As part of it, the government will fulfill the Journalists’ dream of their own houses soon, the Minister added.
Telangana State Press Academy (TSPA) Chairman Allam Narayana said it is conducting training classes for the Journalists.
He said that the state government would construct 200 double bed-room houses for the Journalists by spending Rs 10.6 crore.
Expressing his gratitude to the Chief Minister, Mr. Narayana said no state government has extended such a helping hand to the Journalists in the country.
Ministers Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Satyavathi Radhod, Chief Whip D Vinay Bhaskar, Warangal East MLA N Narender, Andole MLA Kranthi Kumar, AP Government Advisor Devulapalli Amar, and among others participated in the program.(UNI)
